This vintage set of still photos was taken at the SeriousBondage Institute in 2009 and features our friend Gumbi. As indicated by his name, Gumbi loves rubber. I think the word 'gum' refers to natural rubber obtained from trees, like 'Studio Gum' and the popular kids animation TV show 'Gumbi' from 60's. In any case, we used some heavy metal bondage gear from RigidCuff to restrain Gumbi in the middle of the room, with no chance of moving or sitting down. I think this is a hot scene and it's too bad we didn't shoot a video of this because we were only shooting stills when we first started the website.

In this fun video our friends Wired4Fun and Low Maintenance (both on Recon) play with some rotating suspension gear, assisted by our in-house bondage expert Dalton. Testing continues on a regular basis at the SeriousBondage Institute. If we are going to push the frontiers of bondage we need to keep a tight schedule of testing when we have volunteers at our disposal. These volunteers donate their time to be restrained in unusual scenarios so we can evaluate their survival rate and involuntary responses.
