For those who have never been to the famous IML (International Mister Leather) event in Chicago, you might be interested in this video. We attended the 2015 event and took our video camera to document the fun. There were literally thousands of guys attending, and they completely took over the large Congress Plaza Hotel leaving no room for vanilla travelers. We stayed in an overflow hotel down the street. Each day there were classes, demonstrations and the marketplace where vendors setup booths and sold their wares.
Shooting an event like this is hard because we tried as best we could to only show people who gave us their permission. I acted like a TV news reporter and interviewed a lot of attendees, vendors, MIR Rubbermen, Boot Blackers, and the crew of the popular podcast NoSafeword - Sparkey and Daddy Tony. (needless to say, Mikey was there as well!)
We went to IML expecting to see lots of guys wandering around in bondage gear, but for some reason that didn't happen. Some people told me that they were disappointed as well, and that it was the lowest turnout of people in gear since they had been attending the event. Even the vendors didn't have much in the way of heavy bondage gear. Sigh... I guess the days are gone when Richard Hunter, the owner of Mr S, would do a bondage scene right there in the marketplace. In any case, the guys from MIR (Mister International Rubber) made up for the lack of visuals, and we managed to capture some straitjacket fun at the BootBlacking station. This update includes 5 videos:
Video 1: Interviews with guys in crazy gear at the rubber meet-and-greet before the event.
Video 2: More crazy gear interviews, playing with bondage gear, BootBlacking interview.
Video 3: Vendor interviews including OxBalls.
Video 4: NoSafeword podcast crew, more vendors, and interviewed a guy who was wearing a serious remote shock collar!
Video 5: BootBlacking Mikey's boots while straitjacketed, and a french guy with a unique rebreather gas-mask rig!
We hope you enjoy this set of videos. A good time was had by all. There were way more attendees, vendors and action happening throughout the hotel than we covered with our camera because we didn't want to show unauthorized faces. A special thanks to everyone who allowed us to film them. Enjoy! |

This is a fun show-and-tell video featuring two popular UK kinksters: 'AtMyDisposal' (Recon, Grinder, Tumblr, FetLife) and Miss Velour (FetLife). Although these two kinksters have have different sexual orientations they get along quite well together, enjoy co-topping, and share an interest in collecting unusual rubber and bondage gear. In this 3-part video we see a wide variety of kit including a Rubbers Finest video helmet, extra-heavy metal shackles, a large inflatable hood, electro-stimulation gear, Fetters suspension frame, and a room full of other interesting paraphernalia. (in the video notice the cage in the background with the strange pipes and rebreather bags!)

Many of us fantasize about being bound in extreme and overwhelming bondage. We imagine tight straps, bizarre hoods, and inescapable bondage rigs that are designed specifically to restrain and torment. This type of gear is not widely available and is usually made by small garage businesses or individuals whose passion drives them to create the bondage gear of their dreams. Such is the case with our friend BadNomadTwo (Fetlife) and his amazing strap chair. Nomad has been making heavy-duty bondage gear for years, and because he enjoys the experience of his own gear so much he finds himself playing solo most of the time.
In this video our friend MummyEd interviews Nomad as he demonstrates putting himself into his reclined strap chair. As both MummyEd and Nomad will tell you, self-bondage and extremely dangerous and they are NOT promoting self-bondage. However, BadNomadTwo likes to share his passion for bondage with others, so consider this a documentary and not a DIY video.
Nomad thinks his reclining chair has 40 or so straps, but frankly MummyEd and I think he lost count of the straps somewhere after 30. Nomad has carpentry, welding and leatherworking skills so it is easy for him to add another strap here or there, or build an entirely new rig from scratch. Although he owns a latex catsuit, his material of choice is leather.
This is the first of a number of videos featuring BadNomadTwo and the various pieces of gear he has built. We would like to thank him for sharing his passion with us. We totally get where he is coming from because we all dream about experiencing severe and overwhelming bondage gear and the buzz and highs we get from playing with it.
